They should not use statues in Orthodox Churches. It is against the 6th Council.

it is true the Soviets will not do this (sculptures to the new martyrs. It will happen when we have a new and true Tsar. We can only pray for that.

Is this the new sculpture of St. Vladimir in Moscow? If so- these sculptures need to increase of the saints to replace the public sculptures of Lenin etc. We have plenty of New Martyrs and scenes from the Gulag to decorate our public places with. But this sculpture would be ineffective in a church. ...
