Vasily,

In your "control panel", click "Regional and Languages"

Then click the "Languages" tab.

Then click the "Details" button.

Then click "Add" - choose "Greek" for the input language...

the drop-down box called "keyboard/layout becomes active", in this drop-down, choose "Polytonic Greek".

It has to be Poytonic Greek

Click OK for everything and back out.

NOW, you also have to have a Polytonic Font installed on you PC and it is helpful to have a printout of the keyboard layout while get started.

What version of windows are you using?

Give me the exact error message and I'll see what I can do.

Vasily,

Somehow you are trying to change the default language, and not adding a language. That is what casues that error.

Are you sure you are following the procedure correctly?

The procedure is the same for Windows ME and Windows XP. Read this...

Never in my wildest dreams did I think I'd see OOD recommend a link from the "world Orthodox" Patriarchate of Alexandria (or any other "world Orthodox" jurisdiction, for that matter) in a positive way. :P
