It is not bad at all for modern Greek. I use it to help my wife learn pronunciation. Of course, now she will sound like a Cypriot, but is OK!

I am probably the only person on this forum who learned Attic and Homeric Greek first before going to Koine. :)

And I don't really know any modern Greek.
