Kyrie, Kyrie...Lord, Lord

Julianna,

And even though it is virtually unanamous for some reason to write it as "kyrie" -- which would leave one thinking it was pronounced keery, a better phonetic spelling would be: keedea

So in Greek, Sunday is called keedeakee (Κυριακή) or, the Lord's Day.

Not that anyone really cares: :)

But I guess if a Greek were walking around calling the Lord, "lober", people would have a problem. And thats because of American nationalism, which is a another subject altogether. :) People have been walled off for lesser things - look at the Old Believers.
