A new translation of the authorized Greek text of the New Testament used by the Orthodox Church is now available:

The Eastern/Greek Orthodox Bible, presented in honor of the late Archbishop Vsevolod of Scopelos (Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the USA, E.P.), should compliment both the Orthodox New Testament of Holy Apostles Convent, and the upcoming complete Orthodox Study Bible. Volume Three, which contains the New Testament, is available now. Volumes One and Two, which will contain the Old Testament in an updated Brenton Septuagint form, will be available shortly.

It is not a Bible. The Bible consists of both the Old and New Testaments. A translation of the NT is just the NT, not the Bible.

If you read what I actually posted, it is indeed the complete Bible - Old and New Testaments - in three volumes. The two Old Testament volumes will be available at the end of December.

The New Testament translation by Mother Mariam? She's not even a Greek scholar. Who is she to translate the New Testament? I've heard parts of this translation. It sounds very strange.
