That's what it sounds like, Maria. There are a number of examples from both sides of this mini-union [ ! ].
Esteemed Priests like Fr Nikita Grigoriev, formerly a professor at Jordanville and the author of an articulate anti-union document during the 2007 era, and Fr Sergey Klestov are examples. Even former Abbot, now Bishop Andrei [ Erastov ]. One would never have expected any of these to move like players on a chessboard into their new groups with such facility.

Fr Siluan is too smart to be tricked like they are. He sounds completely solid in his loyalty to Archbishop Tikhon.
