I'm only familiar with the Catechism of St Philaret of Moscow. I'd recommend that one to you.

I'm not sure how far along you are in your journey and I don't want to confuse or discourage you. Are you familiar with Ecumenism? This is a heresy that, unfortunately, ROCOR has embraced through its union with the Moscow Patriarchate. True Orthodox ( this is a True Orthodox forum, after all) believe that those who knowingly embrace Ecumenism are under anathema. Therefore, ROCOR is not a recommended jurisdiction.

Slobodskoy's The Law of God is very good, too. We often use it for catechism at our parish.

Both the Catechism of the Holy Metropolitan Philaret of Moscow and the Fr Seraphim Slobodskoy's The Law of God are OK. We use both for cathecumens.

Offensive posts have been moved to the report archives. In case people haven't read the forum rules, any polemics against the True Orthodox will not be tolerated anywhere on this forum.

The post with the polemical anti-TOC links has been removed so please don't refer to it in this thread.
