Thank you, Barbara.

I was wondering where that post went. I knew I had posted it, but could not find it.

Funny !

Well, we can always pray to St Feofil of the Kiev Caves for lost items, which should include elusive posts, right ?

I may have found one Zinc supplement which does not include the unwanted Copper. It's made by Garden of Life and has the odd name of Vitamin CODE - speaking of codes [ 2 earlier posts talked about fixing the codes regarding edits ].
I am trying this out and will let readers know how I think it is. These are capsules, by the way, which can be taken apart and the actual Zinc consumed directly, preferable to swallowing those gelatinous shells used for all vitamins. These might stick like glue to the digestive tract, thus causing potential problems in the future.

Everybody needs Zinc in this day and age, so please make sure you are getting plenty, both through diet and proper supplements.

Maria had a post a few pages back about the benefits of the herb Plantain in healing snake bites. I can't find the post itself but just to repeat during this time of yellow jacket activity at its height before temperatures cool off, be sure to use plantain for any bee stings. It works ! There seems to be nothing that deters bees from buzzing aggressively around one. Matters may become worse if one likes wearing perfume, since bees mistake the floral smell for real flowers !

I found it, Barbara, several pages back on page 21.

Baking Soda - key to longevity?

Post by Maria »

Here are the first three paragraphs:

Baking Soda May Reduce Premature Death Risk

Mar 08, 2019

Research published this month in the Clinical Journal of the American Society of Nephrology found that having balanced baking soda, or bicarbonate, levels in your body could reduce your chances of early death.

The study examined data compiled in the Health, Aging and Body Composition Study for 2,287 participants. Participants were healthy adults who, at the onset of the study in 1997, were between the ages of 70 and 79, and were followed for approximately 10 years. Survival data were gathered through February 2014.

What did they find?

Study author Dr. Kalani Raphael, associate professor and nephrology and a hypertension specialist at the University of Utah, and colleagues investigated pH, carbon dioxide and bicarbonate in association with long-term survival. According to the University of Utah press release, “Critically ill patients with severe acid-base abnormalities have a very low likelihood of surviving their illness, but it’s unclear whether more subtle changes in the body’s acid-base status have an effect on the longevity of relatively healthy older people.”

....

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
