The Fast of the Theotokos is upon us.
I wish that I lived close enough to a parish to enjoy celebrating Paraclesis. In the meantime, we will be chanting it at home everyday.
My husband and I have never heard or prayed the Great Paraclesis, and none of the New Calendar parishes which we previously attended have ever celebrated the Great Paraclesis. Has anyone here prayed these prayers?

I just looked at the text from HTM in Boston. The odes in the Great Paracleisis are different than those of the Small Paraclesis.
I have no idea what the melody sound like for the odes of the Great Paracleisis.
Anyone know? Is there a you-tube video of the Great Paracleisis?

I can see the difference as the odes are also different. Are the melodies of the odes in the great canon to the Theotokos the same as in the small canon?
