Oh the irony.
FBI, DOJ, and NSA top level executives used unsecure devices to transmit classified documents, yet they tried to charge Hillary Clinton with treason for doing so.
Judicial Watch writes, “In a January 30, 2016 email exchange sent entirely over unsecure devices, top former FBI officials including General Counsel Jim Baker, Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, Strzok, Page, unidentified individuals from the DOJ’s National Security Division and NSA General Counsel Glenn Gerstell, discuss a draft document with the subject line: “Revised IC Safe Harbor Letter (from [redacted] using [redacted] iPad).”

Several other low level staff members have been prosecuted and imprisoned for releasing classified material.
So, if a person is a top level executive, he probably will not be convicted, even though he should know better.
