Assisted suicide of children and babies is already practiced in Europe, especially in the UK and in Scandinavia.
Note that the British Medical Journal published the paper. Not surprising at all.
Sadly, Canada is following suit. Will Australia and the USA be next?

A Toronto hospital is outlining plans for children’s euthanasia and causing many to question the intent. Toronto’s Hospital for Sick Children’s “medically assisted suicide” strategy is causing uproar due to its explicit verbiage that will allow some children to proceed with euthanasia sans parental consent.
The British Medical Journal published the paper. The document discusses issues such as confidentiality of patients and defines “capable children.”
The “capable child” distinction is important because such a distinction could allow the child to proceed with “assisted suicide” without parental consent.
