I think that if you think it is a miracle then it is. I'll bet that is a very austere icona.

Firstly, Happy Birthday! and Many Years! You share a birthday with my newborn daughter, Eleni.

I'm sure Vladyka John new your earnest desire to have his icon, and got it to you for your birthday.

St. John is very quick to hear those who supplicate to him. If it were not for his intercession I would not have moved up to Minnesota, been baptized (on the weekend of St. John's feast day no less), gotten married, have two beautiful daughters.

St. John is especially venerated here in Minneapolis.
