Olympiada, have you had any bad experiences with monastics, or do you know anyone who is thinking of entering a monastery? Don't let a few bad examples give you a negative feeling towards a holy way of life that has nurtured many saints, and led a multitude of souls to the heavenly kingdom. I suggest making a pilgrimage and seeing for yourself.
Bad experiences
I have not bad experiences with monastics. I have had bad experiences within my own soul. I have been to monasteries every since I became a catechumen. Never mind.
