ROAC continues to be under persecution in Russia

This article is in Russian, but looking at a Google translation, on Nov. 29 ROAC Metropolitan Theodore of the Sudzal diocese was warned of a criminal prosecution and apparently precious relics owned by the ROAC were seized.

Lord have mercy.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Oh no that's terrible !

We all have to "chip in' with our prayers, regardless of jurisdiction.

These brave ROAC people are really suffering and it never lets up or ceases !

I bet the relics are of the great Saint, Euthymius of Suzdal. [ I didn't read the article but
I know they were under order to be seized by the local "soviet commissar" ]

What pressure they must be feeling.

Yes, the relics in danger are those ones of St. Euthymius and St. Evfrosinya, the founders of the Monastics Life in the old Suzdal.

Thank you Father.

I HAD written"St Euphrosyne" TOO, at first, but wasn't sure about her, so erased her name.

It IS both of their relics being impounded, then, VERY sad.

I guess there is no way to fight it in the courts which have been proven to be totally
anti-ROAC or ANY other jurisdiction besides the MP.

Why doesn't the US government do something? Of course we all know about THEM, but
still seems like some good souls could put pressure.

I guess if it were a Baptist "church" under attack from the Russian Government/MP, there would a nationwide outcry,
top of the evening news for weeks until finally the Russian authorities quietly backed away.

Indeed. I think if a Baptist church were being attacked the whole of the Evangelical network would be burning the midnight oil and beating every media and political drum it could lay a finger on to shame the Soviet state to back down, and likelihood is that they would probably return everything and run away with their tail between their legs.

God have mercy.
