Re: Father Seraphim Rose
Thank you, Kybihetz. I agree with what you say. The hieromonk who was talking about Fr Seraphim's reputation to me was certainly not trying to slander him; he stressed that he believed Fr Seraphim was a good monk. He didn't believe he was a saint, however, and he was concerned about those who did. B...

Re: Tserkovnye Vekhi Blog
I suggest you contact him personally. We aren't prepared to allow him on this site again, given his aggressive anti-True Orthodox opinions.

Re: Incognito 1583's own personal thread about whatever
Cyprian, You are right to warn me against judging Fr Seraphim. As I said, whether he was truly saved or not is not for me to judge. I pray to God he is saved. Re: Establish a private forum for inter-True Orthodox debate?
I think a private forum is a good idea. The forum can be clearly labeled, so it won't be really secret, but one would need special permission to read the actual content of the disputes.

Re: Counsels from the Holy Mountain.
Costas, Thank you for avoiding an inflammatory tone. God forbid we should raise our anger on the day of the penitential Great Canon. Even so, please be wary of accusing us of hypocrisy or anything like that. If you are confused about our position, or think there is a contradiction, try to frame your...
