I recommend reading Faith, Form and Time by Kurt Wise:

Wise earned his PhD in paleontology under Stephen Jay Gould. He's able to logically and articulately defend his creationist position.

If my future wife did not shave her underarms and legs, I wouldn't feel physically attracted to her. Likewise, she'd feel the same toward me if I did not shower and change my clothing every day. If our body is a temple of God, we should take care of it well.

Could you provide evidence to support this claim? The Dead Sea Scrolls were made before the Christian movement even began, they agree with the Masoretic text and, therefore, your contention is incorrect.
