Orthodoxy of a person can not be measured by one Orthodox statement. But can Heterodoxy be measured by one Heterodox statement?

On another forum I brought up the following question in response to someone saying that a person sounded "orthodox" via an orthodox statement. So I wondered, since Orthodoxy of a person can not be measured by only one Orthodox statement alone, can Heterodoxy be measured by one Heterodox statement? Thoughts? Please explain your answer if you would.

it seems to me that heterodoxy can be determined by one heterodox statement. If a person says a thousand Orthodox things and one heterodox thing, than that person is still heterodox.
