My Charity, I don't care about your agenda, I care about you opinion. Without some context there can be no direct discussion. I can neither oppose nor support your postion. Because you do not make one. These stories are not your opinion they belong to someone else unless you state otherwise. The content has someone elses name not yours.

I have a question to ask you in all respect:
Am I an Orthodox topic to discuss on your group? Are you going to allow me to be continually badgered by these people for no other reason than "silencing me"? Is harassment of my person legitimate?
I take umbrage at the fact that certain parties who lack gravitas in their convictions can engage in these types of tactics and somehow reproof be issued in my direction. I have the right to defend myself, Father.

I can be blunt when I need to be (and even often when I don't need to, and even shouldn't), so let me attempt to lay it out straight. You're hurting your cause. You're cutting your own legs out from under you. Many people begin to not care what you say, because in your speaking greatly you end up saying nothing substantial. To wit, I am not going to read 20 news articles on the off chance that one might interest me; thus, when I click on the "new threads" (or whatever) link, I no longer look at subjects to see if they interest me, but I look at the names; if you started the thread, I skip it. That has nothing to do with my opinion of you personally, or my opinion of the articles. It merely has to do with the fact that I have a finite amount of time to spend online, and I am not going to spend an hour at this forum every day sorting through stuff (and if I took the time to actually read everything you posted, it would probably take 3 or 4 hours). Isn't there a proverb that says that you will know a fool by his continually speaking, whether in season or out, helpful or not, etc.? I am not calling you a fool, but asking you to examine whether perhaps you would have more influence, and whether your comments and articles would have more impact, if you were to pull back a bit and cease the attempted shock and awe tactics. One sober news article with some commentary would go a lot further than 20 news articles that indirectly touch upon a subject.

The forum is not a press agency... There are already sites with information about the Orthodox world... So why flooding the forum with agancy news... The forum is made to discuss and share opinions... So a agency new without any commentariy is garbage...

A valiant attempt, but in fact a wasted effort. This is no longer an Orthodox forum.....It has become Kollyvas's personl blog at Fr Dcn Nikolai's expense. I suspect that Dcn Nikolai has lost interest here and so Kollyvas has taken over. There is less and less here that is worth looking at and more and more garbage. I don't even bother opening anything that Kollyvas has posted. I already know that there is nothing edifying there. So why bother? This site will soon go the way of other good sites that have been destroyed by the same sorts found here. When the copy-right laws catch up to this site, we will be the ones to suffer and we will be the ones asked to help with the legal bills. I'm not even sure I would help.......All our pleas are ignored. All our requests come to nothing.

It's sad really as I have enjoyed my time here.
