I would like to offer some comments re The Jesus Prayer.
I began The Jesus Prayer a few years ago, first just a few times a day, and then setting a specified time each evening. Now The Jesus Prayer is with me almost constantly. I've noticed how unexpectantly my life has changed and I believe it's these changes that need spiritual direction.
I struggle as sinful temptations have appeared out of nowhere, trying to distract my efforts. Yet through the grace of Our Lord my prayers continue.
