Various World Orthodox jurisdictions, Catholics - and a mysterious man in a suit standing at the center of the group [who could THAT be ?- doesn't resemble ANY Patriarch I have ever seen !] met to denounce the pre-planned attacks on Taybeh :

"Cardinal Pizzaballa stood with the other Patriarchs of the churches in the town of TAYBEH today

They CONDEMNED the repeated attacks AGAINST CHRISTIANS by ISRAELIS, saying in a statement:

'Radical Israelis from nearby settlements intentionally set fire near the town’s cemetery and the Church of Saint George, which dates back to the 5th century. Taybeh is the last remaining all-Christian town in the West Bank. These actions are a direct and intentional threat to our local community first and foremost, but also to the historic and religious heritage of our ancestors and holy sites.

In the face of such threats, the greatest act of bravery is to continue to call this your home'

They also stated:

'We ask for the prayers, attention, and action of the world, particularly that of Christians globally' and 'This is clearly part of the systematic attacks against Christians that we see unfolding throughout the region'"

Some Greeks, at least, are taking admirable action with regard to the Palestine subject :

Ooh, bad news. There must have been a mix-up at the blood bank again if they gave him the vaccinated stuff.

Who did you mean ?

Royal Intel :

"Benjamin Netanyahu lies about the reason the Palestinian Christian population has gone down in Bethlehem.

🇵🇸✝️ As Palestinian Christians, here’s the truth:

The number of Christians has actually gone up, but the PERCENTAGE of Christians has gone down due to the constant ethnic cleansing of areas that are majority Muslim, many have no choice but to take refuge in Bethlehem, which caused the number of Muslims to go up. Had the Zionist never occupied our land, none of this would have happened, the population of the city would be over 90% Christian, as it was before these demons occupied our land.

Israel did not “leave” Bethlehem. They never owned it to begin with, actually, the biggest problem the Christians have is that Israel won’t leave their city, they illegally occupy it, and they’re in the process of setting up several NEW checkpoints in the middle of the city. What part of that is “leaving” Bethlehem? Building additional illegal settlements around the city also doesn’t help.

We are calling on all Christians around the world to help uproot this heathen enemy from our land. 🙏"

Presumably speaking about World Orthodox hierarchs [probably the Greek EP since she praises the Antiochian John X in this regard], one Palestinian Orthodox Christian writes

"It’s not hard to see who I mean. So many stayed silent, likely for reasons tied to politics, money, & status

I am embarrassed to be an Orthodox Christian when our so-called leaders tweet about baseball instead of platforming the voiceless or using their sacred office for peace."

Gaza CAT SHELTER must disband unless miracle happens

Consider sending a donation to these earnest people ; it's non-political in case of anyone fearing "getting involved" in a volatile situation

August 17 2025 post :

"The hardest decision in life is to leave something that is a part of you. But the hardest thing is to hold on to it until your heart withers. Progress does not come until you empty your hands of the things that prevent you from grasping tomorrow.

My dear friends and loved ones.. We are stuck in a place that has no mercy for anyone. Giving up has become a nightmare and leaving has become hell. We don't know what to do. Should we leave and leave everything behind?

Or do we stay and die?

Everyone sees and knows that the army intends to expand the military operation in Gaza, and no one will remain in Gaza..

I've thought carefully...

There will come a moment when I will have no choice but to leave.

But I will not leave until zero hour comes. I will continue to hold on to my home and all the beautiful things.

I will stay here for the cats, I will stay here for everything. My soul is at home..

But when I leave, I'll need a tent...

My uncle, who was martyred 3 months ago, has land in Al-Zawaida, which is south of Gaza City.. It is in the middle Governorate.
I called my cousin and we were supposed to go there today to check things out, but the car didn't start because it had been parked for two years.
But in any case, I must buy a tent and be prepared for anything.

My dear friends, buying a tent and its supplies, setting up a toilet and a small kitchen, and transporting my needs from my home with a small truck requires at least $2000.

Yes, maybe I don't need all that.. Maybe a miracle will happen and they will retreat from invading the city.. And I sincerely hope so.. But if they really did it, these 2000 would be equivalent to millions when they need it..

In any case, I need to buy a tent now and put it on the ground in Zawayda..

When I leave, I will take as many cats as I can. I will not leave them to their fate..

I wrote a list of my needs because in the event of an invasion, we will be overwhelmed by fear and we will forget many necessary things.

A month ago, I prepared the bags as you can see in the picture below

My friends and loved ones, I need your support to buy a tent and its supplies urgently now.

Your support helps me survive these difficult times

https://paypal.me/animalrescue703

The biggest concession you can make in your life is to adapt to a situation you hate. But as long as you are by my side, anything is possible

I appreciate your support and am so grateful to you all

me & everyone in Gaza have our hearts clenched just thinking about the specter of evacuation &thinking about where we will go.

Good morning, friends. I'll go now 2 an exploratory visit to Zawaida in the middle Governorate to assess the situation

I'll keep you informed of updates
