This is the central argument of William Van Wagenen’s Creative Chaos: Inside the CIA's Covert War to Topple the Syrian Government, a book that anyone serious about understanding the modern Middle East must read.

Do you remember those kid books called Mad Libs?

Here is the adult version

This is the central argument of William Van Wagenen’s Creative Chaos: Inside the CIA's Covert War to Topple the ____ Government, a book that anyone serious about understanding the modern _____ must read.

I didn't even SEE that post, sorry ! Interesting, thank you !

Don't know if it says anything along these lines but a truthful post by one Marwa Osman :

"Trump just said it out loud: "We lifted the sanctions based on Israel's request."

And with that one line, the entire illusion, for those who ever painted Nusra as a pillar of justice for Palestine, collapsed

Syria, once the beating heart of Arab dignity, has been handed over on a silver platter to Zionism and Western imperialism. The so-called "Syrian revolutionaries" who cheered for "freedom" while waving NATO's flag can now watch their poster boy, Abu Mohammad al-Julani, the washed-up terrorist once hunted by the U.S. for a $10 million bounty, being rebranded as a "tough, pragmatic leader" because Tel Aviv said so.

This is what your "revolution" led to; terrorists turned Western assets, Wahhabi and MB militias turned media darlings, and a nation gutted, looted, and occupied by every foreign power that once swore to "liberate" it. How utterly shameful.

And the SJWs, the Twitter nationalists, the fake "revolution" mouthpieces, they'll still preach about "justic" and "human rights" while their idols kneel before the very empire they once claimed to resist as they chop off the heads of Alawites, Christians, Druze and Shias in Syria.

Julani is the perfect emblem of this moral decay: a man who traded his past and ongoing terrorism for PR interviews and Western approval.
And for Syria's sake, for what is left of the Arab world's sake, it's time we call it what it is: a complete, humiliating surrender to Zionist imperialism wrapped in the language of revolution...what...revolution?"
