Do we have any detailed information about this camera-in-the-tv caper ?
I ALWAYS FELT there was something like that. Hence the terribly old-fashioned TV I had solely for VCR-watching [very rarely
did I have time for even Church services on VCR or this type of thing] seemed sinister to me.
I ALWAYS covered its "face" with a cloth at all times when not in use.
This was a good trial run to keep alert !
That was a TV that someone had given me when they had to leave this country suddenly due to some family things.
I would never have had one otherwise. It barely even worked, but just enough to see scratch VCRs of wholesome old movies
through never-ending zig-zag lines ! Remember those ?!
I have no clue what a modern TV would look or act like. I avert my eyes in stores.
However, I know that many Americans will be already converging on Sears, Walmart and other stores opening
Thanksgiving night at 22.00 hrs (8 PM) for precisely these ridiculous contraptions !
I wonder whether these crowds would have jumped up at any hour to attend the service for St Herman of Alaska,
who reposed on this day, Nov. 28.
