Thanks for the research everyone !
EW ! That endorsement of A. F. [appropriately named !] was nauseating to me.
Clearly the Jewish bankers bailed out the Vatican a few times over the last half century or more, or there
would not be this SLAVISH subservience of recent Popes kowtowing to Jewish interests.
Just by reading this alone, I can see what sort of compromiser the Pope may be.
I mean compromising truth in exchange for the proverbial mess of pottage.
He looks distinctly UNIMPRESSIVE : UNSpiritual in my individual opinion.
By the way, I realized after reading the posts yesterday that he must be named after St Francis Xavier
rather than St Francis of Assisi.
The famous missionary to Goa, India, was one of the first followers of the founder of the Jesuit Order.
Clearly, the Pope could not be named after the founder of the Franciscan Order !
Therefore, it's a good choice out of all the Jesuit Saints except for the really impressive
St Carlos Borromeo. That would have been better.
Nonetheless, I feel relieved it was not St Francis of Assisi.
Why aren't there any other Cardinals superior, though ? That seems to be really a question.
This prelate seems middle in every way, middling, average, no spark, no light from his countenance.
Does not inspire any awe or reverence.
Pope Benedict had a distinguished appearance. But his successor is blahs-vile, I fear.
His receiving a blessing from Charismatics -! and protestants at the very first Mass is a terrible omen.
Thanks for that info Maria.
By the way it was John Allen, Jr of whom I spoke once here about him being a young untried journalist overnight becoming
"THE expert" consulted by all American media channels regarding Popes and Vatican functioning.
I don't pay any attention to him ; his spiritual father was I believe that horrendous "Franciscan",
Fr Benedict Groeschel, a notorious liberal - to the point of being a shocker.
I couldn't remember Allen's name offhand. I started a book by him which included this autobiographical information...
and returned it immediately to the library ! A total waste of time.
