You have stated that you have come here to "learn how you define yourself as an Orthodox Christian or how you understand Orthodoxy and its history, from the apostolic time to the present day."
However, in your newest thread on The Jewish People, you seem to be interested only in teaching us about Jews as you understand them, and when we ask you for clarification on the views of St. John Chyrsostom, you refuse to do so stating that it would be off topic. In fact, that thread, instead of being a thread for all of us, has become a sounding board for your point of view only. Anything else, you have labeled "off-topic." Correct me, if I am mistaken, but that is how I perceive this situation.
I would like to see more of your thoughts on Catholicism and why you have come here in the first place. Have you come here to lecture us about The Jewish People, or have you come here to learn about Orthodoxy?
In Christ,
Maria
Maria,
Can you show me where I refused to comment on the views of St. John Chyrsostom? And where I stated to do so would be off topic? I do not think I did, actually. Moreover, I sent you an email this morning telling you my problem in trying to answer the questions some of the readers asked me and my attempts failing.
Maranatha,
Nadir
P.S. I should add, or rather repeat, what I wrote yesterday,
I omitted to say then that my main reason of my disenchantment and alienation with the conciliar Novus Ordo church is its betrayal of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. The betrayal consists, in particular, in going over to the true Catholic Church’s perennial enemy, namely, the Synagogue of the self-style Jews, this since Vatican II. Thus, the readers of this post will understand now, why I joined this forum and the rationale of my writing here.
