Most of the accusations Fr. Roman brings up against Met. Raphael are just recycled accusations from Fr. Anatole Berestau, which have been answered numerous times:

I especially like how Fr. Anatole re-arranges words in the people he's interviewing, puts ellipsis in the people he's interviewing (leaving out phrases that would explain previous statements leaving no ambiguity; or even sometimes it being difficult to tell when his [Fr. Anatole's] commentary/paraphrasis begins and where literal statements he's supposedly recording begin). Even other's who've made the accusations all seem to rely on Fr. Anatole's (an MP hieromonk) chapter in one of his works, or his other recycled statements (or, of course, who can't love the 'anonymous' sources "Someone said this", etc).

It's not like Met. Raphael and his people haven't tried, and made it public they've tried (writing letters to people, publishing articles on their website, etc) when people bring Fr. Anatole's rehashed statements up; even promptly denying that anything like he says they said they said at all, or if something was said, that it was totally a misrepresentation.

Let's not forget that people like Fr. Anatole, which, unfortunately to many, includes people like the now departed Fr. Daniel Sysoev (who was killed by Muslims who were upset at his attempt to convert their co-religionists) have accused Abp. Lazar (Zhubenko) of being a paranoide schizophrenic sodomite (http://sysoev2.narod.ru/katraskol.htm). Others claiming that to be promoted in the 'True Orthodox' world of Russia you have to be either a 'sexual deviant' or an 'occultists'. Perhaps as time goes on we can uncover additional accusations of 'sexual deviancy', 'occultism', etc, written up in books, articles, etc, against several other more 'well known' True Orthodox clergy in Russia. What should we think of those?

I remember a thread here highlighting his support for such awful specimens.

I didn't realize that the Fr Daniel who was killed had been with HIS group.

I found it very suspicious myself that he was killed right in Yasenevo, headquarters of SVIR, the FSB Foreign Espionage department.
If this Fr Daniel was in a TOC, that would add an entirely different dimension to the story of Fr Daniel.

Although Archbishop Lazar [Puhalo]'s surname has a Hawaiian ring to it, apparently he doesn't have a drop of Hawaiian blood in him, nor is that his real surname. He seems to have changed his name as often as he has changed jurisdictions.

From Wiki's previous page before this most recent edit, Archbishop Lazar was known as the defrocked Deacon Lev Puhalo, aka Ron Haler. The currently cleansed Wiki pro-AB Lazar site claims that AB Lazar was born as Ronald Puhalo. What was his birth name?
