What part of me trying to discern is unclear or reticent or deceptive or a refusal to disclose to you?

Since 2015 I have not formally joined any synod, I remain formally Catholic.

“What exactly are you here for?”

“…To see with eyes unclouded by hate.”

Dear Isaakos,

I know that you are trying to seek Christ in all sincerity to the best of your ability.

All I ask is that you try to discern in quiet, solitude, and in prayer, and avoid trying to teach us as you have been doing.

Yes, it seems like a jungle out there full of wild beasts and demons, but the Lord will guide us if we but ask Him.

In the meantime, and in the long run, we will be praying for you, that you may be saved.

Lovingly in the Risen Lord, Jesus Christ,
Maria

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

Thank you, Isaakos, for changing your profile to reflect your beliefs at this moment.

We appreciate your honesty. Please continue to ask questions, even if they are difficult.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

What is GOC-A? I assume GOC-K is the Old Calendar Florinite Church of Greece under Arch. Kallinikos.

The GOC-A is the synod headed by Metropolitan Angelos of Avlona.

Yes, GOC-K is the synod under Archbishop Kallinikos. They also call themselves the GOC, so this does create confusion.

Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.

I didn't know that St John had arranged for Eugene Rose to be CHRISMATED !

Maybe that is why this was never explained well in the Platina biography as I recall. I would have to check it again, though.
I always assumed that this Eugene was baptized !

Wasent that normal pratice on receiving a roman catholic convert in the russian orthodox church before the the revolution? Thru chrism.

Although if i remember fr seraphim was from a methodist family .

Does any one know how people are recieved now through the rocor mp? My understanding is the goc- k rebabtizes.
