I see...I wonder what will happen next. Perhaps they will try some wreckless attempt to warm things back up and cause a runaway increase in global temperatures by over-compensating and using untested techniques or amounts of change agents. Then the bible will be fulfilled.

Or we could be knocked out of our normal orbit by a huge asteroid or Planet X into one closer to the sun. That would cause us to see falling stars, etc. In March of this year, a huge asteroid will pass through our satellite belt. NASA predicts that it will not enter our atmosphere.

Feb. 11, 2016 - C9 at 2103 UT (13:03 PM PST) - Earth directed CME possible.

Feb. 12, 2016 - M1.0 at 1047 UT (02:47 AM PST) - A Magnetic Crochet

Feb. 13, 2016 - M1.8 at 1524 UT (07:24 AM PST) - This was also a Magnetic Crochet or impulsive solar flare.

Feb. 14. 2016 - M1.0 at 1926 UT (11:26 AM PST) - We felt the heat from this Magnetic Crochet, which heats up the ionosphere.

Lots of solar activity with 50% chance of an earth directed Coronal Mass Ejection (CME) heading our way right now.

Today, the active sunspot is still visible and active, but it is turning away from us as the sun spins.

Five C flares and two M flares were released by NOAA AR 2497 in
the past 24 hours. The brightest flare was the M1.1 flare which peaked at
11:00 UT (3 AM PST) on February 15.

Sun has been actively flaring.

M1.1 at 1100 UT (3 AM PST) on February 15, 2016.

C9.4 at 0501 UT on Feb. 17 (9 PM PST on Feb. 16, 2016).

Here is the graph which plots every minute showing the instability of this sunspot 2497, which is quickly spinning around to the other side of the sun. Therefore, no more flares from it will be geocentered unless it blasts us again in two weeks.
