My son sings in the Maryland State Boychoir; they rehearse at a church off Erdman. I have to go up there tonight for the rehearsal for the Baltimore Boychoir Festival. (Performance is tomorrow night up at Kraashauer Auditorium-- it's worth the trip.)

Iconophili, you have made your argument over and over again and convinced no one nor answered simple facts posted such as knowing how to fly one plane makes flying another plane easy (just not the landing or taking off!) and produced over 70 pages of discussion that has gone no where, so how about you just drop this topic completely and move on to something else, perhaps even something having to do with Orthodoxy. Contributing to this thread or this topic is not going to convince anyone of anything, so please just let it go. I will lock this thread this weekend and ask that the topics contained within it are not brought up again. (Not because the gov't is paying me off either, but because it is ridiculous that this is the biggest thread on an Orthodox site, when arguing it helps no one in their quest for heaven.)

How Is disagreeing with you a definition of "Non-Orthodox"? How is this topic that you are obsessed with "Orthodox" such that "Non-Orthodox" should not post here? One wonders then how many of the sites and Conpiracy Theorists that you like are EO. Do you know?

Providing links to photographs that show Manhattan from "25,000 feet" with the WTC towers clearly visible is "non-Orthodox"? Providing links to data from the CDC regarding how the average human life span has increased in the last 100 years (as I did) is "Non-Orthodox" not to mention "Heathen"? (For that matter, how is real data about real human lives in History "Heathen" and what did you mean by that term beyond a perjorative?) Providing personal knowledge of people who were at the Pentagon or who lost family members there or (as Mr. Holland posted) people who found parts of the victims' bodies (May they Rest in Peace) is "Non-Orthodox"?

This topic is not, as far as I know, defined as an "Orthodox" one. It is not a matter of faith or tradition or jurisdiction or praxis or prayer that I can see. Therefore, why are you expecting that only EO may post in it? However, if you think that is so, there have been others here who are EO who disagree with you.

You have repeated and repeated and repeated yourself. You do not seem to have looked at any of the counter arguments or links or posts or information and considered them as possibly having some truth that goes against the Conspiracy Crowd that you like.

You accept the words of an actor with no qualifications in any form of science because he says things that you like but not those of qualified engineers who disagree with your particular obsession.

You accept words taken out of context that when they are read in the full statements say different things (the man who told the NYC firemen to stop trying to fight the fire in WTC7 for example).

And the link in your last is not the 9/11 Commissions "own words". It is a page of links on a site of an unknown person who's qualifications are cloudy, who believes in a "Zionist" conspiracy, and doesn't seem to be "Orthodox" so why should he be accepted. He is at best a "secondary source". A link to the report is provided at least, but what is under it is the site owner's words.

I do not think that you have read the "9/11 Commission Report" yourself. The interpretations or opinions of the Conspiracy sites you favour are not the same thing as reading the actual document and addressing real points or quotes.

You have not shown that you have any real understanding of how planes fly, how they are built, how buildings are constructed, how the WTC towers or the Pentagon were/are constructed, how buildings fall down, what metals do under heat and stress, how the geography of the East Coast of the US, New York City or the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia area is easily identifiable, or how to evaluate if information is good or bad, True or False.

One also wonders what my not planning on becoming EO has to do with this either, since it is not a religious topic.

Oh yes, and can you please show where in any post I "speak against Orthodox Elder Ephraim"? I recall none.
