Certainly heretics have been present at Ecumenical Councils, but the heretics were not the ones who convened the council. They were invited to repent by the councils. It would be a grievous mistake for Genuine Orthodox synods to participate in a council at the invitation of heretics. The Genuine Orthodox should be the ones convening and leading the council.

I was referring to your opposition to GOC councils, not to invitations to attend world orthodox pseudo-councils. But I think you knew that, since it was a response to your comments regarding a GOC council.

What if these so-called Old Calendar ecumenists are called to the council and repent? That would be "nothing good" in your mind?

This question clearly implies that those you label Old Calendar ecumenists were called TO the council. Not convened it.

There was a specific synod in this thread mentioned as possibly convening a so-called "GOC" council. I regard that synod as not Orthodox, but in fact old calendar ecumenists. I do not think Genuine Orthodox synods should attend any council convened by this synod. I hope this is more clear.
