It could very well be a prank. I mean, someone could have possibly figured out John's password and posted a false message under his screen name.

Each night we go to sleep we are rehearsing our deaths. And each morning when we awake, we are rehearsing our resurrection for our final judgment. And during each blessed day, we have a chance to prepare.
Although its hard not to, don't be at all sad. No person here loves John even a sliver as much as He who created him, Christ our God.
As far as the identity of "Michael", I recommend as Anastasios suggests, with the addition that any speculation is not only unproductive and useless, but it may also be harmful.
Just so there's no confusion, she meant that she was shocked that he had died. I didn't see this thread or the ByzCath stuff (or anything similar to it) until this moment, nor do I much care to go into or think about such an issue. I was sorry to see that John had left us, I wish I would have taken his resignation from OC.net more seriously and said a hearty good-bye (even if I wouldn't have known what was going to happen).
