where did he find a wife, and also, how did humanity grow from this?

From St. John Chrysostom, Patrologia Graeca, Vol. 53, pg. 167:

...From where did Cain find the woman since the Scripture does not mention one? Do not be perplexed about this. The scripture nowhere does it give a detailed genealogy of the women, but avoiding what is irrelevant it only mentions the men and then only those that were important... Hence it is certain that Eve had other children as well... Also given that they were at the beginning of creation, God allowed marriage between brothers so that the human race should increase...

There is an Orthodox theory that Adam wasn't the first BIOLOGICAL person, but the first to receive the "breath of God", i.e. the Holy Spirit. He was created about 5,500 B.C.in Mesopotamia. Cain married someone that wasn't his sister...

An extremely convincing(and dogmatically correct) book is "The 6 Dawns" by Alexander Kalomoiros.

Oh, you guys have to be kidding?

Adam and Eve were the first of God's creation. Adam lived to be 930 years old. That's alot of child-making. At least for the first 200 years. I'm sure he had alot of stamana, being newly created.

And Genesis states that he was 130 years old when he begat Seth. So imagine, how many people were already living at that time. Seth could have gone with his great, great, great, great niece.

You cannot possibly compare those times to ours. They lived to be 900 years old!!

St. John Chrysostom states that it is the beginning of creation, so we cannot doubt his words, as he explained all the Old and New Testament.

If you wish to stay out of trouble, I suggest you don't inquire about other men's wives!
