Just like to note that the tradition of not fasting from Bright Week to Assention is a more ancient tradion than fasting between Bright Week & Assention. But then again, apparently the important traditions only count if they were in use in 19th Century Russia (sarcasm btw). Also, the fast of Peter & Paul was a more recent inovation (ancient, but I believe it was the last fast added to the calender) than other fasts.

Well this is an important question isn't it? I would agree with Miriam that there are many people who would be willing to give you advice, and nobody is about to doubt their sincerity. But the question is, who will you trust your salvation to? The answer to this question is why Christ made you a "rational sheep."

All of the troubles we see today started with the calendar innovation. Consider starting your search there.
