Mormons Abusing Memory of Deceased Russians

The resting place of threads that were very valid in 2004, but not so much in 2024. Basically this is a giant historical archive.

Futile though it is, it is incredibly impertinent and offensive to the living relations of the people the LDS claim to be making Mormons posthumously.

Otoh, flat out declaring about Mormons that "they're going to Hell" seems to be also presumptuous. We cannot know what will happen to even ourselves.

Well I was being sarcastic when I added that notion. However, I did not say that I myslef know where I will end up.

On the other hand, the deity(ies) that the "Latter Day Saints" are worshipping is surely NOT the Triune God of the Orthodox Church, so what does that make them? I thought either one is for Christ or against Him. IMHO, Mormons are no more Christian than Jehovah's Witnesses, no matter how many good works that they claim to do.

By the way...Any religion that EVER endorsed polygamy or incest will always be suspicious to me.

In Christ,
Tessa

While I agree with you that neither the Mormons or Jehovah's Witnesses should be called Christians since they do not believe in the Trinity, be careful Tessa, since the first children of Adam married their own kin and many of the Old Testament fathers had more than one wife.
