Besides, when have I EVER claimed to be a good Orthodox Christian?

Since you are not an Orthodox Christian, then why are you posting on this forum?

I asked a perfectly reasonable question, and I received an answer, no thanks to you. There is no further need to keep posting on this thread.

And calling it silly is just the same as calling it stupid. You just want to use softer terms...

I didn't write that I was not an Orthodox Christian; I wrote that I am not a good one (according to the "traditionalists) since I am GOA and believe in evolution

"...And if one thinks that from a human being, the Most Holy Theotokos, Christ was born! Then what we are saying is that a monkey was an ancestor of Christ? What blasphemy!!"

Elder Paisios of Mount Athos

(and i know we didnt come from monkeys supposedly, but rather a common ancestor, but something tells me Elder Paisios wouldnt have liked that too much better)

Tom,

I understand the nuance of language. What I don't understand is what happened to you since 2003 when your posts were focused more on discussing the Orthodox issues instead of making flippant remarks.

In Christ,

Joanna

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)
