Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me a sinner.
You're welcome! Please post anything else from St Matrona that you find blessed and memorable.
I'm very sorry if this upsets anyone, but St. Matrona of Moscow is not venerated nor recognized as a saint by any of the True Orthodox jurisdictions of Russia. There are many unorthodox elements in her life, and it is considered suspect and spurious by many within the Moscow Patriarchate as well. She was and is well known for her support of Stalin, and there is a legend that he visited her; they're not infrequently depicted together on "icons" of her. "Orthodox" Neo-stalinists often refer to this to vindicate Stalin and to claim that he was secretly Orthodox and didn't persecute the Church. Please be careful when referring to her, so as to refrain from offending the True Orthodox in Russia.
Forgive me, I made a mistake. I thought that Saint Matrona was the name of a famous Orthodox saint! It is confusing for a convert like me, when so many websites and published church calendars include so many names of "Blessed" or "Venerable" or even "Saint" So-and-so, and it turns out they are Sergianists!!! Lord have mercy.

Yes indeed, "Saint" Matrona is not recognized as a saint by true orthodox, just like "Saint" Luke of Simferopol, the surgeon...

What is this brotherhood about? (Besides being Communist Sympathizers and Sergianist collaborators, of course.)
