Pew Survey 2015: U.S. Religion Retention Rates

Hindu at 84 Percent vs Buddhist at 49 Percent
No wonder Hindu are very difficult to convert.
Muslim and Jews are tied at 76 Percent.
Eastern Greek Orthodox = 73 Percent
Roman Catholic = 68 Percent

I personally believe that the stronger fathering and mothering skills parents have, the more firmly the children are going to hold to their religious upbringing. Conversely, the poorer their skills in maintaining a loyal and strict upbringing without hypocrisy the more likely the children will be to seek what their upbringing lacked in those areas elsewhere.
