Hello every body,

how are things, i'm back from MARINE CORPS Boot Camp, its been a long 3 months away from home. I became a US Marine last thursday.
So how are things here? Still the same admin people I take it? I missed the board and cant wait to get back into posting. I have some stories about orthodoxy that happend at boot camp.

In my platoon was a Monophysite Copt, and the OCA Chaplin used to commune him every sunday with no questions asked, the chaplin said
he had permission from the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Alexandria?
Whats with that, well i gotta go run, take care and cant wait to here from you guys.

I am at home for 10 days of boot leave, then I report to my Military Occupational Specilty or for me, Infantry Training Battalion, ill be there in school for 2 months almost then I get assigned to a Unit then illl eventually get shipped over to that sandbox they call Iraq.

A man from our Cathedral just got back from Iraq after many prayers and much anxiety. Hopefully you might have the chance to talk to someone like him before you go - I'm sure they have some good pointers to stay alive and not be put in a position to have to make a choice to kill a person.

Well after my Job School I get a wish list to where I will get stationed Im gonna ask to go to Okinawa Japan. Either way i still be going to Iraq/afganistan.

Well looks like all be home for at least 6 more weeks. Yesterday I woke up with some stumach pains and I went to the Dr. The Dr. Sent me to the ER and the ER said I had apendcitis and they removed my apendix yesterday. I still have to report to my school on tuesday but they willl most likley just send me home for the ammout of time given by my civilian dr. Please pray that I heal.
