Hallal food

Post by Jean-Serge »

I would like to have your opinion on the following subject... France has an important muslim population. Muslim prefer to consume meat that comes from an animal beheaded according to the muslim rite

The animal is oriented towards Mecca, and when the man cus his throat, he says Bismillah (in the Name of Allah).

Do you think consuming such meat is allowed for Orthodox people...

Priidite, poklonimsja i pripadem ko Hristu.

Yeah it's not a problem unless people around you would be scandalized (c.f. St Paul's epistle to the Galatians I believe).

Arab style food is delicious!
