Byzantine Cause

Hello friends of the former Byzantine empire. My name is Konstantinos and I am here looking for support from my fellow Orthodox brothers/sisters. I am one of the few surviving men to the last Byzantine dynasty or the Palaeologian dynasty. My goal is to unite the Balkans and possibly the Orthodox world under the Byzantine crown to enrich our empire and to ward off Islam. I am not lieing to any of you and I swear on my life by this cause. I have already gathered around 50 men from my area who are willing to fight with me and I am hoping you will too. I am glad that my fellow Orthodox Christians are responding to my post. Whether it be of sarcasm or of realism, I love all. I would be interested in talking to a woman of royal lineage, for we share that. I know that my cause does not present the best in Christian morale or example but I feel that we need to take the offense, for if we dont we will eventually be overtaken by Islam. I also know that this cause is nearly impossible, but I am willing to attempt it for God, glory, and my family. I am not kidding around with this, and I swear on my life by all that I have told you. I am just hoping you will see the light and fly to my banner. I come to you all as a humble servant of Christ, I am not better then any of you, and I hope you all know that. Please respond.

I have read your post with incredulity! Was it not the Eastern Roman empire? As to who has taken an interest, I suspect American and Turkish security interests have picked up 'the thread' more like.

I think Vicki and Romoisini & have it right................... As for seeing the light and flying to your banner, Sir, may others have greater discernment and judgement.
