Masonic child identification program

I reciently noticed a article about freemasons collecting childrens dna in the HuffPost it appeard there is a michigan masons program among others i was wondering if any one else is familiar about this?

Sounds evil. What is the DN a for ? To have a record of each child in the country, some day ?
If Masons are leaping to participate, one can be sure that the goal is VERY dark.
