I'm very busy right now but I'll start my response with a simple request. Please produce for me one resolution or statement by the Synod of bishops of the Russian Church Abroad which explicitly states that the "new calendar" or "world Orthodox" jurisdictions are without grace. This is the common refutation of Cyprianism, correct-- That to say the "world Orthodox" are Orthodox and have grace is heresy? In the acceptance of "Cyprianism" by the Church Abroad, they merely publicly articulated a belief held by the Synod all along.

Bogoliubtsy,

The 1983 Anathema.

You say the Anathema was a "local nature"?

To this Blessed Theophan the Recluse replies:

"Whether your teaching and your name are pronounced as being under anathema or not, you already fall under it when your opinions are opposed to those of the Church, and when you persist in them. Fearful is the anathema. Leave off your evil opinions. Amen."

And what else is an Anathema except the declaration that one is cut off from the Church and its Grace?

In the acceptance of "Cyprianism" by the Church Abroad, they merely publicly articulated a belief held by the Synod all along.

So does that mean their communion with the GOC of Greece for all those years leading up to 1994 was not an articulation of what they believed all along as well? I believe you just proved the case against yourself.
