Another question- Is St. Nicholas of Japan not recognized by ROAC? Why a change in your patron saint? Are you going to change your last name too?

Yes, ROAC at this time has not glorified St. Nicholas of Japan and so I decided to choose St. Nicholas the Tsar-Martyr, which is rather fitting since my daughter has always had a devotion to the St. Anastasia the Grand Duchess and Martyr of Russia.

I do not think that anyone is trying to ruin your Lent. I think some people are angry about the way that you went about moving to CO. I'm not angry myself, but I can understand that they would be, and wouldn't dream of calling them wrong for being so.

Nicholas did what he believes is right for him and his family...everyone must remember that we are in no position to judge him and we should respect his decision.
