Is playing games a sin or not accepted?

Post by romiosini »

What I mean is, for children, or adults, or adolescents, any age, are games a sinful factor of what can distract us from the spiritual world? That's what I think, but does anyone know or can explain anything?
(by games I mean video games to, and all types all board games, handheld games, etc.)

I think that it is important that you not have any children! :ohvey:

But I guess we don't have to worry about that for you, since God made the act of procreation ENJOYABLE you may feel that that bit of pleasure might distract you from the spiritual world. So I guess that would be a sin.

What would make you even ask such a question? I spent many childhood summers at church camp and we played chess, softball, kickball..as well as went to church twice a day. You have to have some sort of balance.

Pardon? What for? Obviously babies could not see spirituality, there are newborn and lack sin! But I mean, as a permanent thing, all the time toys and games or gadgets.

"all the time" is relative. If you are saying that it becomes an obsession or compulsion - then that is bad in anything, not just toys or games.
