OOD

Personally the tradition say that Christ did smile during one event in the NT. It was when he wrote in the sand and later spoke to the people who were abut to stone St Mary Magdalene. We dont know why he smiled. Personalyy I believe that God created humour, but that Satan tries to pervert humour and make it perverse. When a baby laugh, this is not a consequence of the fall from grace. I believe good laughter are from God and that Christ laughed for example at the wedding in Canan. He even transformed water to wine, even though the guests must have drunk a lot before this. A pharisee could accuse Him of passion towards wine. I think He wanted the poeple to have fun and perhaps even laugh some more.

Exact science must presently fall upon its own keen sword...from Skepsis there is a path to "second religiousness," which is the sequel and not the preface of the Culture.

"Let the one without sin cast the first stone."

There is another version of that story. It starts the same way. The scribes and Pharisees bring the woman before Jesus, quote the law to him, and ask him what he has to say about it. He writes with his finger in the sand, and then says, "Let the one without sin cast the first stone." At that moment a stone comes flying out of the crowd, hits the woman right in the forehead, and kills her instantly. Jesus turns and says, "Mother, I was trying to make a point."

Yeah. You are right. I was tyrant when I was a youngun'. In fact when I was toddler, the pediatrician told my mother to tie a rope around my waist and the clothesline out back.

I know you have issues, Tom, but distorting the Holy Scriptures is really low. You may make fun of us, to your heart's content, but don't make fun of God. If you say you are Christian, at least show respect for God. You're the one that claims that the Holy Bible is the only facts of faith we should follow, but now you are even spitting on that.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

Actually Tom did not make that story up. I have seen it acted out twice. Once in High School, that was 33 years ago. I laughed then.

CHRIST IS RISEN!

I guess it's his constant negative view point. He will always take an opportunity to bring up something negative. And he will always have a negative example to bring up...like in this case.

Tom,
CHRIST IS RISEN

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)
