Survey on those who are left-handed or right-handed.

Post by Chrysostomos »

I want to post this poll and hope you will participate in it. I will explain my reasoning after the poll closes.

I would like you to indicate whether you are right or left-handed and whether you belong to a "traditional" or "world orthodox" jurisdiction.

No ambedextrious will be allowed. I don't even know if I spelled that right!

You'll understand, after the poll closes. I am setting it for 15 days.

I answered right & right (I mean traditional, lol!) but I have to post an aside. I was born left handed and am more right-brained than left for the most part. My mother followed Dr. Spock's advice to change me to be right-handed. Although my left leg and eye are dominant, I am right handed, but maybe should not be considered as such in this poll?

Fr. Deacon Nikolai,

If there is a way to change the poll, change your response to Left-Handed. I should have said born, not are. So, if you can't change poll, then it is duly noted that you are left-handed for purposes of this survey.

SO anyone answering survey, please mark that which you were born, left or right handed, and whether you currently belong to a traditional orthodox church or world orthodox church.

Can't wait to discuss the results.

Your fellow struggler in Christ,

Rd. Chrysostomos

CHRIST IS RISEN!

I'm left-handed (born and raised) and traditional. And very, very intrigued about the explanation....oh great, now I'm impatient too.

Decon Nicholai,

You seem to have a lot of issues going on. hehe.

Chrysostom,

Perhaps you should add amedextros too: Decon Nicholai sounds like that category. They can be the deciding factor. I think they would be a variable you should consider in your study. Just a thought.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

I was able to use both hands as a child but ended up right handed, so I answered traditionalist/right handed :)

Sidenote: Three people in my immediate family are left hand/traditionalist. So, I am very interested in your explanation
