What would you do if ROCOR and the MP united tomorrow?

I find it kind of odd that ROCOR folks would switch to an entirely different ecclesiology if the reunion were to take place. Do people realize that the ecclesiology of these groups is quite different from what ROCOR has always believed? Why, all of a sudden, would people start denying the grace of Orthodox sacraments outside of their jurisdiction?

I think that they are responding in a knee-jerk fashion by switching.

Non-ROCOR people voted for "celebrate" too.
Wow, 50% would leave and 50% would become MP with ROCOR. Interesting.
Ecclesiological Nightmares

Well ROCOR is not in communion with the MP because their ecclesiology is different. If being in communion means the same ecclesiology, then we would go to having the ecclesiology of the MP, OCA, the EP, the Antiochian Church and everyone else the MP is in communion with, that we currently are not. Now that would be a change in ecclesiology!

No, ROCOR wouldn't have a change in ecclesiology in regards to the Grace of other Orthodox jurisdictions. ROCOR does not hold that the MP's sacraments are devoid of grace. Nothing in that regard would change. In regards to other issues relating to ecclesiology, you might have a point.
However, my point was that if one would leave ROCOR for joining the MP, why go to a group with a different ecclesiology than what they believe now...i.e. why go to one the extreme(schismatic?) groups? Why not go for instance to the Cyprian TOC of Greece?
Also, we have to be careful with this "conduit" type argument. ROCOR is in communion with Serbia and Jerusalem. This does not mean however that ROCOR is in communion with the MP. There isn't a "chain" of sorts linking ROCOR and the MP through the Serbs. I suppose the same could be true if ROCOR would be in communion with the MP. Perhaps they would still not serve with Antiochian clergy? Who knows.
