No special reason....just thought everyone would be interested in seeing the picture......although I suspect it was probably connected to Erineous.

Orthodox Synod ....... CONSTANTINOPLE, Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee! Not Istanbul, it is The City.

And an aside, often I read comments about Orthodox dress and comparisons between 'ecumenical' and 'non-ecumenical' Orthodox churches. And then I will look through some photographs of ROCOR clergy and then some of EP clergy, and be amused in a trivial way be the fact that the EP clergy have full beards and clerical or monastic apparel, and the ROCOR clergy appear a little more 'trimmed'.

Don't know what it proves, save perhaps the old adage you can't judge a book by its cover might be a wise one!
