You could be right, Milla. He/she did do what Artemon did with a post and removed it by replacing it with a line of gibberish (all z's iirc)

ICONOPHILI wrote:WOW You have been caught ina LIE!! You claim that I don't know what he (Your Brother inLaw) saw Yet I claim I do know:: BASED on what YOU said are you saying here right know that you didn't say that your Brother inLAW saw "The AFTER MATH" of what happened HU??
No, I have not lied. Perhaps you did not understand what I was writing.
I will try to explain it to you more clearly. You (Iconophili) do not know my brother-in-law personally. You have not talked to him about exactly what he saw. Therefore you (Iconophili) do not know exactly what my brother-in-law saw or experienced. You do not know what he saw as he and his officemates were working their way out of the building.
Have you personally talked to anyone who was at the Pentagon that day? Any of the people who work there? Any of the rescue people who were there? Were you there yourself that day? Then you do not know what other people saw or experienced, you have gotten information 2nd or 3rd or 4th or more hand from books and websites and perhaps other sources of conspiracy hysteria.
.... YOU HAVE BEEN DE-BUNKED and a YOUR questions/ comments towards me will never be taken seriously me, GoodBye!!
Well, you didn't seem to take any of my questions or comments seriously before. As to my being "de-bunked" insisting on your own misunderstanding of what another writes and shouting with the all caps isn't the same as "de-bunking" someone.
You have not answered questions, you have not taken others ideas into consideration, you have cast aspersions on those who do not agree with you ("brain-washed" EO, Non-EO who can't understand so you won't hold them to the same standard (condescension) etc), you resort to namecalling and you SHOUT.
Why should anyone here take you seriously, when you don't seem to take anyone who disagrees with you seriously? By what authority do you make your (unsubstantiated) assertions? What are your qualifications for your claims? Are you an industial engineer? An aeronautics engineer? A structural engineer? A historian? A theologian? A statistician?
Why should people believe you?

Liudmilla wrote:Actually the more I read iconophilli's posts the more I begin to be convinced that this is Artemon himself. Same spelling mistakes, same wording, same excitement and exclamation....
There is no convincing this guy if it is him and if not well you still will not convince him. Next he will start quoting obscure misquotes from the saints to support his assumptions.

:ohvey:
You could very well be right, Milla. I suppose that though there is no convincing him/her. But since he/she said that information and links were gotten from Artemon's old postings, I take that to mean that there might be lurkers or newer members who are reading old threads. It may be overly optimistic to think that maybe a future lurker/reader will read the counter-posts and not just the rants, but one can hope.

Has anyone else noted a similarity in how these "two people" go back and "edit" their posts? And how both their names are in full capitals?
Now there's food for a conspiracy theory!

According to tradition (little 't') they are released when the Book of the Triodion is opened in Church. This occurs on the Sunday of the Publican and the Pharisee, which was 12th February this year. They remain until the Triodion is closed and the next book, the "Pentecostarion", is opened on Easter.
In the Western Churches, these three Sundays before the full fast begins were also observed, and collectively were known as "Shrovetide", when people were "shriven" (confessed their sins) in preperation for the Fast. In the Anglican and RC Churches, these three Sundays of Shrovetide are "Quinquagesima", "Sexagesima", and "Septuagesima". In the Orthodox Church there are four, and they are: "Sunday of the Publican and Pharisee", "Sunday of Prodigal Son", "Sunday of the Last Judgement" and "Forgiveness Sunday".
"As long as it depends on Monothelitism, then Miaphysitism is nothing but a variant of Monophysitism."
That's 18 out of 289 words misspelled, and I'm being a bit generous at that.
As to your first point: There are plenty of "legitimate" sites-- or you can go to the library and read any number of books. They aren't, of course, going to spend a lot of time refuting the idiocies of the conspiracy sites.
Your second point: Nobody should care what the canons say. The canons are not able to make a cleric competent to pass comments on anything other than matters of Christian religion. (Actually, they aren't even able to do that.) It's just common sense that a cleric is a second-rate source of information about secular politics or history-- third- or fourth-rate if he repeats the words of second- or third-rate "authorities".
Your third point: The constitution is readily available for consultation. But this has little to do with anything. Indeed, round about this point your comments cease to attain anything resembling coherence. You make what might be taken as historical claims, but I see no reason to credit any of them. The current administration's attacks on civil liberties is plainly traceable back to the use of 9/11 as an excuse, just as its invasions in Afghanistan and Iraq can be traced back to the same point. Zionists? Irrelevant. The continued insistence that the administration attacked its own people in order to obtain this justification? Unsupportable and unnecessary. Your opinions as to the legitimacy of the government's actions? Your opinion, nothing more.
