Excessive sexual desire

Post by Olympiada »

All right kids, I am having a conversation with a Frenchman in another group about the fact that excessive sexual desire destroys a marriage. He doesn't believe me. Does anyone have a proof text for me or a nudge in the right direction so I can find one my self from the Holy Fathers to support my statement.
Thanks
Olympiada

Olypiada,

Or whatever your real name is...you're becoming a bore. Most of your questions are about sex. I'm starting to think that you might really be a man. I've never heard of a woman ask so much about it. We usually care about more important spiritual matters or circumstances.

Stop wasting the space.

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)

Joasia,
My name is not Olypiada, it is Olympiada. That is all you need to know. If you find me boring, don't read my messages. You are right most of my questions are about sex, which is life, as opposed to this death that surrounds us. Do you prefer death? Perhaps you will find more satisfaction on Goth net, or Goth Fashion, yes? I am no man. Would you like me to point out to you where my photograph is on the web? I am a very unique woman, darling. I have been very unique since conception. We are all unique, dear. Are you in denial? I think so. Sex is spiritual dear, it is Eros, which is a spirit. And I am going through a divorce which pertains to marriage which is spiritual. My, we certainly are judgmental this afternooon aren't we? What's the matter, missed Communion or something?

Touche...

If you find me boring, don't read my messages

I was looking for insightful posts and kept bumping into your posts. I don't come here much anymore, so it's taken me this long to respond.

You are right most of my questions are about sex, which is life, as opposed to this death that surrounds us. Do you prefer death?

The only death that really matters, is spiritual death. Since we live within the Grace of the Holy Spirit, we are nurtured by the Holy Spirit...so the real death are for those who have no faith. Sex has nothing to do with the living faith and what will take us into God's Kingdom.

Are you in denial?

No. Whatever for?

Sex is spiritual dear, it is Eros, which is a spirit.

Sex is physical, my dear, pure and simple desire of flesh. Eros is the love that Jesus Christ portrayed...it leads to theosis. Sex leads to physical pleasure that has to be repeated. Eros is the ultimate fulfillment of the heart...nothing else can replace it...nothing physical can attain it. The world has twisted the concept of eros...that's why we have so much sexual deviations.

And I am going through a divorce which pertains to marriage which is spiritual.

I agree that it is all connected, by what about the questions on the other thread about monks and sex...you seem to focus on that subject alot.

My, we certainly are judgmental this afternooon aren't we? What's the matter, missed Communion or something?

No. Just asking some questions. Others have questioned your reasoning too.

Oh what grand and glorious moralizing. A conformist. Hoorah!

Look, darling, I don't have time for this anymore, find a different correspondent will you? I am finished with you.

Yeah so what if I did. So what. I am through now. I am dealing with it somewhere else more discreet and secret, like a little cat going under the bed, understand? I have dragged my little mouse off elsewhere to play with it. I have decided that is none of your business. Too controversial. And not going away, so I am going away, back into the shadows.

No. Just asking some questions. Others have questioned your reasoning too.

Question away, when these threads die out, I am finished with this community.
Sayanora, baby.
