Thanks for that Buzuxi. Fascinating situation - will try to learn more about it, in particular the Church's view on St.Isaac.
"UnHoly" Martyrs
Just spoke to a priest re:St.Isaac. According to this priest's memory on what he's read about St.Isaac, St. Isaac was without a doubt Orthodox, but was surrounded by Nestorians and Monophysites, and although he belonged to the Assyrian Church, the Assyrian Church was still part of the Orthodox Church at that time. + Most of the controversy re:St. Isaac was revolved around the fact that he didn't condemn the Monophysite heresy because he didn't believe disputes brought any salvific benefit.

The Assyrian Church of the East was part of the Orthodox church in the 7-8th century? He is mistaken. I hope hes not confusing him with another St Isaac the Syrian (of Antioch) abott of Spoleto.
St Isaac the Syrian (if Nineveh) writings were Orthodox but he was an adherent of the AssyrianChurch which was/ is nestorian. His writings were never doctrinal, traditionally for the most part the Assyrian church hates the monophysite church and vica versa.

Please forgive me if I have ever sinned against you in anyway.
Save it. Your comments are enough.
And you know what...I will tell you...you sinned against me. I am scandalized by you. What are you going to do about it?
I offered you my friendship and you strut around making your comments like: this website is SO dead and I don't know anything about you.
Then you get offended because I say something(on another post). Well, you know what...I'm saying something about it...YOU sinned against me.
So, what are YOU going to do about it??
Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. (Ps. 50)
